Transfer Game From Drive C: to Drive D:
Hello!

I am trying to transfer some games in the C: drive to the D: drive as I have run out drive C: space and the games will not update. When I moved some games to the D: drive Steam Library, It says missing executable when I launch the game.

Please Help,

A non-steam game? Just a guess but maybe the path steam uses is linking to the wrong place?

You can't 'just' move a game, since Steam won't have a clue what you did with it. Assuming you don't want to redownload it you could look into a program like SteamMover. It will move the folder and trick your computer into thinking it's still in the original location. (very useful for copying a game to an SSD every now and then)

That or copy the folder to the other drive, delete your installation (the copied folder should remain), then reinstall and point the installation to the copied folder on the other Hard drive. It's possible it will read the files already there, but it doesn't always do that and I'm not sure what the requirements for it are.
