Half Life won't play video properly
I installed Half-Life: Game of the Year edition on my PC off of a CD ROM. Everything appeared to have worked correctly until I started a new game. When I selected Normal Difficulty, it transported me to a zoom-in of my desktop background. The audio played, but I couldn't see any part of the game. I'm running this on Windows 10, leading me to believe that it's too old and may have a compatibility issue.

EDIT: I found out the problem. The problem was my resolution. After a couple guesses to what the right resolution was, I managed to fix it.

I've searched to see if anyone has experienced this. It seems like there's a dozen variations of this problem including cutting to a black or green screen or not playing any audio. But no one has seem to have found a solution yet.

So wait, what resolution did you choose? I'm having the exact same issues as you.
