Another complaint of slow downloads
So Evolve is having a f2p weekend:p2wheatley::steamhappy:
Exept that when I went to download it the timer says that it will be done in 1day 7 hours.:steamsalty: The network usage numbers say I'm peak downloading at 360kb/s.

Opening "network and sharing center" click on connections which opens the "wifi-" or "ethernet status" window says that my speed is 72.2 Mbps
According to Google 1Mbps=1000kbps so I should have 72,200 kbps, right?

I tried with an ethernet cable which gave "Ethernet Status" a speed of 100Mbps.(Not bad) And I played with the Download Region setting in Steam, but I couldn't get the average download speed above 360kbps.

Is there anything else I can do? (Note above: I did the usually recommended Region settings and use a cable.)

EDIT: Better numbers and English

Almost forgot my Setup Specs.
Running Windows 10 Home 64bit on a HP Pavilion TS Sleekbook 15
Also there is no one else on the network.
Well...
1) The connection speed and the downloading speed are in diferent measurement units, connection speed are Megabits per second (Mbs), downloanding speed are Megabytes per second(MBs), 1 MBs = 8 Mbs. for example, if you have a 200Mbs internet conection, your download seep should be 25 MBs (200/8)

2) The speeds shown at the network and sharing center are the speed of your connection betwen your pc and your modem/acces ponit.

the best you can do is conect your pc through eternet cable and stop any other download.

your lan connection speed is not yoru internet speed

even with gigabit lan you will still be limited by your isp or modem/router

ex. if you have dsl 1.5m youll be lucky to get 150k/s download speeds

check your internet connection speed with http://www.speedtest.net/
OK, thanks guys. I guess I'll just live without Evolve until they have a sale at the same time that I have money.
if you have a real friend near you who already got the game, using steam client, backup game to hdd then copy to usb flash drive.

from your own computer, scan for viruses, then restore game via steam game client.
steam will install the game and verify if you have the license to play the game.
