Steam Avatars - Error 'No file received'

So I'm trying to change my avatar but every time I pick a picture and press upload, I get an error box popping up saying 'No file received'. I tried doing it with other pictures but it gave me the same error each time. If anyone has any idea how to fix this, please let me know.

They need to add the upload function - file selection back to httpS:/ site for the COMMUNITY GROUP pages. If you type an S and navigate the buttons are missing. they are not considered secure content by the browser and likely the main cause for failing. The coding for this area is should be HIGHLY documented. 2 days for a website function fix is TOO long. Who is the ONCALL?

Adding "https://" worked for me too.. I'm glad I stumbled on this topic.

Good news, the https:// trick works. It's most likely Steam's problem and not ours. Wait a couple of days and they'll have it fixed sooner or later.

click your profile name in chrome (sign into steam).. then click edit profile. then paste in your browser bar https:// Before the address hit enter. click choose file.. select a small square .jpg (184x184) wait a little bit.. then click upload. sorry if it doesnt work for you.. No harm in trying though.. Good Luck!!

Same thing here, trying to change my profile picture for 30 min and still I got message ' no file recieved '
I hope it will be fixed soon!

Thank the lord it worked! and loving your new profile pic. SAO is really good, but I only watched the first season because lately I really haven't got a lot of time.
