Can't upload a new profile picture?

I have tried multiple times to upload a new profile picture, but without any luck. It just does nothing for a minute, then simply clears the field where it states the file's designated name.
Help?

Can someone PLEASE tell me what I can do? Or at least tell me there's nothing I can do?

Eh, you should be able to do it. When you try does it give you an error message?

Things to keep in mind:

The maximum file size is 200k.
The original image may be any resolution as long as the file size is under 200k. Steam Community will automatically resize the image to a square 184, 64, and 32 pixels.

No, it doesn't give me an error message at all. I click "Upload" and it sits for a minute, then just clears the space where I selected the file, as if it never happened.

i have the same prob only way i know of that works is go to www.steampowered.com and log in to your account cause the clint is bugged out

for me there is an error message and it says "Error BadOrMissing Steam id

The client works for me sometimes. I guess it all depends on the guidelines. Even though the size is fair, it still doesn't work.

I cant change it either mine atm is not in a square and I had another one exactly the same as this one right now same size and all but just alittle lighter and under a different name "heart1.jpg" instead of "heart2.jpg" and it wont let me change

I think the problem is that Steam seems to be having issues with png format, so try converting it into JPEG instead. Hope you guys found this helpful.

wow i can choose any picture i want except the one i want to upload...

idk if you guys are still having troubles but

i changed my pic resolution from 800x800, to 184 x 184 and it worked for me
