MY STEAM ACCOUNT WONT LET ME LOG IN PLEASE HELP

i cant log into my acc. my friend cant either, but I can log into other accounts. please someone help

Same issue here. My account works just fine, but my friend can't login to his. He can login to my account though from his connection, and I can't login to his account from my connection.

Same thing here, I can login everywhere except the client. Cannot connect to steam network blahblahblah.

This is the account. Proof I am the owner of the account because I am already logged on.
I posted a support ticket, No response.

My brother can login into his accounts on my PC, and every other. But I can't login anywhere. I asked me friends to login into my account on another network. Still same error message prompts.

Cant login to mine either on the steam client. Worked fine this morning as I was downloading Mad Max, now it tells me it cant connect to the steam network so I cant play the new game :(

i like how valve sends us to the forum to talk to eachother instead of providing information about the current issues

We are having the exact same issue. We have two accounts at home and one is not able to log on per as this afternoon. It says that is has problem to connect to servers. But both computers can log on to one account but not the other.

I have read lots of posts about the subject at hand and there seems to be no clear fix.
Has anyone seen an official reply from Steam?

It's kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥, because the troubleshooting refers to issues regarding, isp, ports, all the usual crap that is never the problem.

I had the same problem, click on new account instead of logging in (no need to make a new one), then go back and connect to your account.

If this doesn't work go to your steam directory and delete everything except for the steamapps folder and steam.exe, run steam.exe (it will download the files you deleted) and try again with new account and then going back and logging into yours.

I don't know why, but this did the trick for me. Hope it works for you too.

Guys, quit being so impatient. Nothing is perfect in life. Even steam has problems once in a while. You are all so quick to freak out and throw tantrums on the forums when one little problems occurs. You wonder why they dont come and talk to you guys? Go and read all the comments about this little error, they figured they would just fix it and let all of you _bitc-h at eachother instead of you ♥♥♥♥♥-ing at them.

Well I mean this would make sense... if the issue hadn't persisted for months. With no solution and no help from Valve. It's spreading like a virus from one account to others...

Nah I did check the date. This is literally the only thread I've been able to find that talks about this exact issue.

I'm assuming since you aren't logged into Steam on those PCs, you don't have any games installed yet?Try reinstalling Steam. The other option is double checking if it's your Steam account or internet that's the problem. If none of this works, send me a message, I have one or two more ideas. :)
