Using VPN to buy from reseller
The game is available in steam in my country, steam is not the problem, the problem is the reseller since they don't sell to my country. Can I use a VPN to purchase from them since they currently have a sale on Phantom Pain? And use the key to activate on steam or should I just find somewhere else to purchase the game?

The site is DLgamer, by the way.

VPN/Proxy is against the SSA and might get your account terminated.

You agree that you will not use IP proxying or other methods to disguise the place of your residence, whether to circumvent geographical restrictions on game content, to purchase at pricing not applicable to your geography, or for any other purpose. If you do this, we may terminate your access to your Account.

If you use VPN to buy from a thirdparty reseller you most probably break the rules for that site too, you might get a key you can't activate on Steam, because it is regionrestricted.

I would not do it if I were you.

This is really nothing to do with Steam or its SSA. You could (and should) close Steam entirely while using a VPN. You intend to use a VPN with DLGamer, not Steam, so you need to ask people familiar with that site and their terms and conditions, but I doubt you'll find many here. Maybe ask in /r/gaming on Reddit?

In general it's a bad idea, not least because you might end up with a key that can't be activated in your region.

It is against their rules.

Unfortunately for securities measures using a proxy or VPN to purchase on our store is strictly forbidden.
Thanks for your understanding. DLgamer staff

If it wasn't, there would be no reason to make the restrictions in the first place.

You're welcome.
http://isthereanydeal.com/ is a good way to find good deals without getting in trouble.

I tried greenmangaming but for some reason the game can't be purchased, it's stuck with the tag coming soon *sigh*

Hmm, thinking about it now, maybe they ran out of codes.

Have you checked out IsThereAnyDeal.com? They list digital game deals listed by reputable stores. You just have to be careful to make sure it's a Steam key you're buying if that's important to you.

Yep, already checked it, the only stores that currently have sales for the Phantom Pain are DLgamer and GreenManGaming, so basically no discounts for me! :( Because apparently GreenManGaming ALSO doesn't sell the game in my region for some reason, same with DLgamer, what is up with this game?

Well, atleast I was able to purchase Fallout 4 from GMG with no problems whatsoever, the only game that counts for the rest of the year for me :D Hopefully they release the key for preload...
