Rocket League has no sounds

I have just bought and downloaded Rocket League and as I open the game i am expecting to hear some sort of music in the main menu. But theres nothing, I thought that they simply had no music that plays while you are in the main menu. So I hop into a game and still there is no sounds. The game itself is really fun but i am losing half of the enjoyment by not having any of the Rocket League sounds playing. Then i decided to remove my headset and use my laptop speakers, the sound works but I would like it to work on my headset as well.

For those who are wondering, I use a Razer Kraken 7.1 and this game is the only one where sound doesnt work with it.
