My friend and i had spent more then $5 on steam and could never add friends. I think you people have to redo your whole site and while your at it make it more user friendly / secure

Retail discs don't count; gifts don't count. If you actually bought them from Steam directly, then it's probably the assumption you've spent more than $5 USD when you actually haven't.
