Javascript confirm virus?
So i was playing some gta 5 and i was loading, so i wanted to go surf the web using the steam browser, i went to ign i think, and i saw some "rich poeple dont want you to know this" so of curiosity i clicked it. It brought me to a fishy looking site that said turn up ur volume, and then a video showed with a guy explaining how to make milions, i closed the site and then gta went into windowed mode i didnt realy give a ♥♥♥♥ so i kept on playing, but then i noticed a window called
"javascript confirm" or something it was a small box with text saying something like "quickly, press cancel" so i pressed cancel, and i heard the voice of the "how to make milions guy" i quickly shut of my computer, and started it again. When it was starting i noticed it was loading windows 10 very slowly and the loading animation was drunk, it was slow and inconsistent, when it was started i quickly ran a quick scan with Avast. But it showed nothing, i then started playing gta again, but over the night i set the computer to do a full system scan, showed nothing, when i restarted it again, the loading circle was not drunk, and started normaly.

Do i have a virus anyone? :steamsad:

The same happened to me.. right now.. I don't exactly know what to do about it.. :/

Im gonna do a full reset when i get a fiber conection just to be sure.

No he is right. If you are unsure you should disconnect from thr internet and run thr most thorough virus scans you have. It might come up clean but the caution is worth it for the cases when it doesn't and you have a RAT or keylogger.

Omg... I was just kiddin'! Programmer/hacker with unsecured PC.. rly nice combo my friends :) You're takin' me like a 10yrs old kid and you're like "Damn son, you should secure your computer first.." :D
