'Receive a free copy of Rocket League and Portal 2' when pre-ordering Steam Hardware

Got Portal 2 as a gift-copy, but haven't got Rocket League as gift-copy. Anyone else have this problem?

I'm going to assume OP already owned Rocket League in his library prior to all of this though?

I own both Portal 2 and Rocket League. But this states if you pre-order you get both games for free even if you own them: http://store.steampowered.com/app/353370

Wait untl Sept 4 when they'll have fully rolled out all gifts. They might be doing it in phases which is why you are only seeing teh Portal2 one for now. If by Sept4 its still not there, then submit a ticket

i ordered 2 controllers and my housemate ordered 3. he owned both games already but only got 1 rocket league and 2 portals. I didn't own it and got them added to my library on first order but didn't get any for my second order.. nice to hear its not just me

You could always try contact Steam Support of you still unable to receive your Rocket League gift.

I am also having the same problem.

A few weeks ago, I pre-ordered the Steam controller bundle with Rocket League & Portal 2, and I already had Portal 2, so that became a gift copy.

I just purchased another Steam controller for my friend and received another Portal 2 for a gift copy but not a Rocket League gift copy.

Has anyone gotten this resolved?

I just pre-ordered a Steam Link and had the same situation...I received Portal 2, but not Rocket League. I had both originally, but am planning to gift them to a friend...and was expecting both!

I better receive Rocket League in my inventory soon!

I received responses a while back from Steam Support.

I first added Portal 2 to MY steam account when I puchased the Half-Life Complete bundle.
When I pre-orded the Steam controller with the promotion, I received Rocket League for my inventory and Portal 2 as a gift copy (since I already had it from the H-LC bundle). I gifted that copy of Portal 2 to a family member's account.

I pre-ordered another Steam controller for a friend and only received Portal 2 (so that would be the 3rd time for Portal 2) to be used as a gift copy. However, I did not receive Rocket League to be used as a gift copy.

1st pre-order: 1 copy of Rocket League (to be used for my account) and 1 copy of Portal 2 (to be used as a gift)
2nd pre-order: 1 copy of Portal 2 (to be used as a gift) - Where's the Rocket League gift copy?

That should make the question a lot clearer.
