An issue with your computer is blocking the VAC system & CCleaner
Hi everyone,

Like a lot of users here, I've got the "your-computer-is-blocking-VAC" issue.
Of course, I've tested all the indications contained in the following topic : https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2117-ILZV-2837
Furthermore, I've found a lot of stuff in this forum but unfortunately it didn't helped in my case.
My situation was the following one: when my computer booted, CCleaner was automatically executed and the register was cleaned up. Two entries were systematically deleted if I had applied the advices of the Steam Topic:
  • ActiveX/COM inexistant, InProcServer32\C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ConnectedStorageService.ProxyStub.dll
  • ActiveX/COM inexistant, InProcServer32\C:\Windows\System32\ConnectedStorageService.ProxyStub.dll

To keep these entries, the procedure is quite simple:
  1. I've executed all the advices of the Steam topic (to recreate the two entries);
  2. I've neutralized the automatic cleaning at bootup (to avoid deleting them once again);
  3. Launch Steam and play CS:GO for hours!

'Hope it helps anyone!
See you guys,

AFAIK CCleaner is already in the list of conflicting programs.

Yes, you are completely right.
Here, I just wanted to point out which entries were to be left unchanged. If these entries are safe, CCleaner just works fine with Steam.
Personnally, I got this issue after the WIN7-WIN10 transition. I don't remember having any issue before that although I always used CCleaner.
