Steam Family Sharing

A friend of mine and I did the steam family thing, and when I played Dying Light (his game) and my friend came online the game crashed and it said ''Game terminated because owner is in library'' Why the ♥♥♥♥ does this happen?

As soon as the owner comes online you get kicked out of all shared games from his account.

You can log into several places with the same account at the same time. Stop saying that. They aren't even logging into the same account anyway.

Each account has a game library. Only one person can play a game from a library at the same time. You can access and play it, but if the owner of that library starts to play a game, you will get a 5 minute warning to stop playing.

If they were sharing with 2 people for example. If Friend2 was playing the shared game and you wanted to play it, you would be told the library is in use and you can't play.

If they were to share with no-one and only allowed themselves to play the game, if they were playing a game and logged in elsewhere and tried to play a game it would warn and kick them out of their original game.

One library, one player.
