Family Share games for all intend and purposes act just like your own game in most circumstances.
The playtime is recorded and visible on your profile, you unlock achievements like for your own games and those count for your achievement average and so on.
What is different with games you play over family share is that you cant write reviews for them ( as you just discovered), you cant get card drops from playing, only the original buyer of the game can, and the games wont count for your game number total on your profile and wont appear in the list of "owned" games on your profile.
Thats about it.
