Im getting the same fps no matter what graphics settings i apply

Hey
i recently bought a laptop with the following specs
I5 10200H
GTX 1650
8GB ddr4 single channel ram
i have a problem which when i play a game no matter what graphics settings, im getting the same fps or a 5fps difference maximum
i tried Far cry 4, Far cry 5, Hearts of iron 4, my summer car, Mafia II definitive edition
i changed from low to ultra setting but no difference in fps at all
gpu is at 95-100% usage
cpu is 30-50%
ram isnt fully used maximum was 7gb out of 8
Any fix?

How much fps you get?
Is vsync on? (You dont need more fps than refreshrate, usually)

do you know that i5-10200h base processor speed is 2.4 GHz (turbo boost processor speed is 4.1GHz)?????

a few of the games you try, the system requirements which is listed is for "base processor speed" not "turbo boost processor speed".

for far cry 4 and 5 its about 40-50
hoi 4 40fps
mafia 2 80 fps
Vsync is off

Cpu and gpu % look good.
So its not the cpu itself, i guess.

What's your thermal sitch like. If things are running hot CPU, RAM, GPU, you will get things being throttled down

money on the laptop using the built in gpu and not the 1650, disable the onboard graphics in the bios

idk how disabling the built in gpu will work, since the game is already set to use the 1650

its the garbage GPU.. even my stone old GTX 970 gets the same or better FPS with a Xeon 1231 CPU.. the card is just a "scam" how people would call it nowadays

I would rather say its that the monitor is not connected to the grafic card, but instead to the motherboard,

I had a laptop before and it didnt have this problem
also most of my friends have gaming laptops and they dont experience this problem too
