Monitor turns off when entering cs:go
Such a situation: I have a laptop, a monitor is connected to it, sometimes it happens that when I go to cs:go (exclusively in this game), the monitor turns off (no connection) and the laptop monitor starts blinking. on / off on the monitor, the wires do not give results, the reason is unknown :( I changed the firewood on the video card - unsuccessfully, only a reboot helps (to make the monitor work)

Sounds a lot like the videocard is dying.

But what do you mean with firewood? That word does not make any sense in that context.

Even for a laptop, that is pretty warm. Depending on how its BIOS/UEFI is configured, you may have reached thermal throttling or shutdown safeguard limits.

Or it could already have sustained damage that is irreparable and will get worse over time until it completely fails.

often happens to me too. This weirdly only happens with CS:GO, when I launch it, often my monitor turns off. Though if I take out the monitor cable and plug it back in, it goes back to normal. My laptop is the ROG Zephyrus G15 (2021), with a 3080 and ryzen 9 5900hs
