Steam no longer detecting Dualsense controller in D-Input Mode.
Hi all.

So in the past, steam has detected my dualsense controller and worked 100% on wired and wirelessly via bluetooth but now it won't detect "wireless controller" and I have enabled the playstation controller support option in steam controller settings but no change. I did update the dualsense firmware recently so maybe the new firmware isn't compatible with the current version of steam? However, If I use DualsenseX or DS4Windows and I switch the controller to xbox/x-input mode, steam picks it up immediately but if I either switch to playstation/D-input mode or switch off the emulation altogether then steam picks up nothing. Anyone else having the same problem lately?

Perhaps the controller is hidden. Check if you have the Unhide Devices button at the bottom of the Controller Settings screen (would be next to the Back button).

Are you on the Steam client beta?
The stable client doesn't interact with DualSense controllers if DS4W is running (as DS4Windows.exe), not sure about DSX. They changed that DS4W behaviour in the latest beta client update but I've not tried it out yet.
I got it working again. I removed all controller devices from devices and printers and plugged the controller back in and it's working fine now. Thanks for your input.
