I was away from my computer for a while today
Unpon return and turning on my headset, I hear this playing

All I had open was waterfox and the steam client
When I closed Steam it stopped.

Well I found the location of the files of the sounds

G:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Amnesia The Dark Descent\sounds\00

Why were 4 Amnesia sounds playing on loop though the steam client? I have never launched the game

Hi xtlm55,
Perhaps you were running Amnesia previously and once you exited the game, the sound files were on loop?
Or another way could be that, you opened the file by mistake?
There are many possible ways this could have played, I am only naming a few.
To hoping you get this issue resolved!

Then, it is perhaps that the file was open by mistake in the game directory.
Hopefully this problem is resolved and no more scary sounds :3
