Is It Safe To Leave Your PC On For a Long Time With a Game Running In The Backround?
I just got 1 million points in Goat Simulator and I want to get 2 million but I have School the next day so I need to go to bed. I was wondering if I could leave my PC on overnight and for the following day (tomorrow), will it be safe?

Okay, thanks. Looks like I will just have to quit it and lose my score. I can always get it back by earning it back tomorrow though, (even though it will take ages). But anyway, it's better to be safe than sorry :leviathan:

I suppose I don't want to blow my PC up over a Goat game lol!

If you have proper ventilation in your case and the room your keeping the pc in isn't too hot, then there is no need to worry about it overheating from playing a game over an extended period of time.

Your PC will not blow up from overheating. If the heat gets too high, the system will cut power automatically. Nothing to worry about

You must have been using some pretty badly built PCs then. There is something wrong if your desktop PC can't handle 100% load for as long as you want.

Scores in Goat Simulator are meaningless by the way.

We have a server built from standard pc parts. Its longest up time was over 200 days. Leaving you machine on overnight is safe.

Have no heat trap and keep the air in circulation. Makes a real difference.

Actually it's likely quite safe to do so. When a game is in background it's not using the same level of resources. FPOr example. it's not rendering frames.
