Is it okay to let my laptop download games overnight?
Well, it's connected to a charger so it wont shut down when the battery is empty, albeit is it okay knowing that it will overcharge? It's a brand new i7 nvidia geforce gtx 960m. Thanks in advance

Batteries don't overcharge. They have protection against that for over a decade.
will it affect the battery life? And also, what about the hardware inside?

No, it should be fine to do so. but best to have the power plan set to balenced though.
well, some of the settings are maxed, though the brightness is set to lowest, is it fine?

Yes, balenced power plan will only feed more power and make the machine run harder if it needs to. which is perfect setting for if your gonna leave your pc running.
okay, thank you for your help
