glyph steamlink code problem.

Hi im not even sure this is the right place but kinda stuck.
I recently put together a new i3 after my nephews pc went foober problem is we have been unable to sign into steam to download all his games.
We have tried to contact steam support and are still waiting been about 4 days or so but Im worried that when we try the verify with a code to sign in it sends trion or glyph emails not the steam support code.
I have never even heard of glyph and wasnt aware steam linked with other services like that.
There isnt much i can do but wait for steam to email them but though i would run it by you guys?

Check the spam and trash.
Steam doesn't use glyphs.
Steam uses short alphanumeric codes only.

Any glyph emails might be phishing scam attemps to hijack the account.

Its not a glyph as in the code thats a game client of some description we are recieving a code from them not steam. The lad probably entered his steam details into that client.
Checked the spam trash nothing from steam just the glyph client.
Suppose all I can do really is wait for steam that may take a while.
