Actually, I'd download free DrWeb LiveCD/LiveUSB, burn it, boot from DVD/USB (you'd better have a wired ethernet connection to get updates or else ), checked for viruses/trojans. No, it's a bad/useless idea to check for viruses if you're running an infected windows OS.
If someone has logged in from anywhere and has passed through steamguard - they have access to your mailbox. And you must find how did that happen first or else they'll do it again or even worse.
so you can if you have the right email.
an empty history means a hijacker is deleting the history.
When that box pops up after you logged in saying someone for this ip xx.x.xx.x tried to access your account, it has the IP there. But then I closed the box. Now I need to get it back as I need to know what that IP was

I am not trying to chck for viruses and my ISP WONT have those IP's.
Creep, I haven't got emails for some reason, I think its because they tried to login
and the few times I see a box popup with a login on another location was because people had a browser tool to watcht tv in another country.
