No it's not. Steam maintenance on tuesdays, but they should warn about it 60 mins and 10 mins before they take servers down.

It starts at 4pm PST and takes as long as it takes depending on the work to be done. Sometimes everything will be down for awhile other times somethings will be down longer than others, while other times things may go in and out as maintenance proceeds.

Its not info, there was a huge problem with players freezing/disconnecting out the game. This requires emergency maintenance to be fixed. There's no time period on the maintenance because even the people working on fixing it havent got much of a clue how long its going to take to fix. Go to bed, video games will be here tomorrow.
