When trying to get help you should be detailed on what the problem is, what you have tried to fix it, and your system specs (OS, CPU, GPU, RAM).
Some of the basics to try are verifying game cache, flushing Steam's config file, reinstalling the game, repairing Steam, making sure drivers are up to date, using various admin/compatibility settings, disabling security software (av, firewall, windows user priviledges) etc...
If you can't get it to work just make sure you refund it before you hit 2 hours of recorded game time and within 2 weeks of purchase.
Could you please advise which address to email for refund, think I will try Saints Row 3 instead.
Just note refunds are not instant. It can take a few days before the refund money is usable so you may not be able to purchase SR3 with your refund money while it is still discounted.
May hve come up with a solution to problem, I realised afterwards that SR (1,2,3 and 4) were on a free weekend as well and maybe this was the casue of the problem.
in conclusion...
Refund was granted (TY Steam), went on to purchase "Overlord II" instead which works beautifully.
