Cannot invite friends to voice channel in group chat

Normally in the group chats I could click the drop-down and there would be a green button to invite someone to my voice channel, but that button hasn't been there. Was it removed, or is it just broken for me?

With my group chat, I open my group chat box and at the top is a messenger man with a + sign invite friend to grouop. This with Steam clint? Seems to be different way to do this?

That's to add people to the group chat itself. I can't invite them to the voice channel or to my game.

For anybody still having this issue, you can work around this issue by right clicking the voice channel itself and selecting "Invite friend to voice." I also can't invite people to my game, so if anybody has a workaround, please let me know.
