Gift card uk - eur

Hi, I have bought 2 gift cards in uk pounds and want to use them on a Dutch account which is in euros.
Can I do this?

Please help.... it is a Christmas present. The card will be validated whilst in the Netherlands (not sure if that makes a difference)

Yes. It should be converted automatically.

No, you can't. You can only redeem Steam wallet cards that are in your currency. As the Netherlands use the Euro and not Great British Pound, you can not use those cards.

Hi folks I decided to try to redeem the £10 on my sons account. His account is also in euros.
Luckily it worked and it was converted to euros!
Now I have to get another one tomorrow for his cousin who is now £10 short for his Christmas gift!!!
