2 kids, 2 computers one account.
Hi, I'm new to steam and am unsure which is the best approach to buying games. I want to put the same games on 2 different pc's (among us, fall guys) do I need 2 different steam accounts in order to make their progress individual and separate. Or can I just buy the same game twice through the same account and they'll be able to play the same game against each other at the same time. Thanks

Create one account per kid. Depending on their age, you may want to set up family view as well. Finally, buy the game twice, one for each kid's account.

Do make 2 account , this will be best advice, thy will grow up and split up in own directions in games, use wish list to add missing game so later can be found and bought cheeper,
they can use familyshare to those games that support it. but someday they want to play same game same time then no other solution then 2 account with own game will fix it anyway.

this will help you , what argue later in those account it is then 2 brother fight over it.

do note. this is seen before with other people. and you try to avoid that, and explan them this.
maybe most games is on one account but untill then and buy games equal among them is not easy. i did not say it fix it , but aient it better then fight over those account it is.

Sadly, the 2 games the OP mentioned can not be shared.

agree , but to have all games on one account , will not make it better, as i recall other post with 2 brothers, that dont or will talk with each other , sure other things can have happend then just a steam account , but such 1 account in top of this will not make it better. and one have chsng PW and steam support will not play judge , and not a steam problem. such things seen from a steam point of view is family internal issue and not solveable.

The kindest thing that I can say about Fall Guys is that it is a brightly colored game. It's a very repetitive party game and there really isn't any goal or much of anything to work for, except different costumes for your bean dudes. I would recommend games with stories, campaigns, actual gameplay, especially single player and co-op and/or multiplayer and games that have good replay value.

There's nothing wrong with kids having stupid fun feeling good about themselves.

Exactly,

I have no interest in Fall Guys but I'm sure my little girl would find it hilarious.

Not every game is designed to please the same audience.

Fall Guys is a great game. I highly recommend it for the stupid, bright, colorful, noisy and adorable fun.

Get your kids their own accounts. They will grow up - they'll still want to keep THEIR games, rather than lose however much of their saves or experiences with them, when the other one wants to take it over, or deletes it, or etc.

Thanks everyone, I decided 2 separate accounts is the way to go, they can please themselves which games they choose in the future without the arguments.

keep eye on PW and tell them this, they should not change without you know it, pw recover is not fun, to proof you are owner. and i have seen alot of kids / adult cant remember login/pw

do make a hotmail or gmail. so recover to mail is possible , phone s has been seen before can get lost.

this is just some of them advice you wish you knew before things get a issue. ask any here.

Yeah, you may want to familiarize yourself and your children with general internet, computer and Steam account security.

Thumbs up to you, OP :) Your kids will certainly thank you even if they don't know it yet.
