I already read this articles and they contradict each other. Examples: In the first link: "you may encounter an error if you try to activate a Steam Wallet Code issued in a different currency than the one of your Steam User Account." It doesnt say no you cant, it says you MAY encounter problems.
Then again it says in the same link: "If you have an existing Steam Wallet (regardless of the current balance), the funds will be added in your Steam Wallet's current currency.", but it says after : "Yes. Each Steam User Account is associated with a specific currency, which you can see in the top right corner of your Steam Client. You may encounter an error if you try to activate a Steam Wallet Code issued in a different currency than the one of your Steam User Account."
What are the country restrictions? I searched and it doesnt say anywhere, Am I supposed to assume the regions that can and cannot add different currency to their accounts.
The second link its not my situation bc: "If you have moved to a new country, or are living abroad for an extended period of time", Im neither the above, Im just travelling.
The third link says: "If you are unable to make purchases in your current region, look for Steam-compatible CD Keys and/or Steam Wallet Codes available for purchase at your local gaming retail stores." So that means I can buy in a store the code, but the other links says that it may not work because of country restrictions that i cant find it.
TLDR; Link 1 and 3 contradict each other, it doesnt say which are the country restrictions and the 2 link its not my situation.
Correct. That portion was not changed when the update to lock them did back during the summer.
