Have Warface on PC but not through steam
i am looking to see if i can import i guess you could call it, warface from my PC that is not through steam, on to steam without re downloading it, i know you can add a non-steam program, but it is on steam and i am guessing there are cards and achievements.

if i could get a answer that would be great!

There are two different aspects of your question: one, can you make a non-Steam game a Steam game, and the answer is no, unless the developer is willing to give you a key (or the game came with one.) Two, can you use your existing files to avoid re-downloading the game, and the answer is probably no, as the game may be a different version and additionally Steam may itself modify the executable (see CEG). It's possible some of the files might not need to be downloaded again, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

You guys do know Warface is free-to-play, right? Anyway, one quick Google later:

Apparently, you'll have to uninstall the non-Steam client and do a full download of the Steam version.
