Steam will not open. Please help!

Steam will not open for me, I tried deleting the .blob. Nothing. I tried deleting everything but steam apps and the launcher- it tells me its running, and I find two steam processes and it tells me access denied when I try to end them. I tried refreshing the files, I type steam://flushconfig, press enter, restart the computer and nothing changed. This is driving me crazy. Does anyone how do I fix this?

Restart your PC in safe mode. Move the "common" and "userdata" folders somewhere safe, outside of the Steam folder. Delete the Steam folder and the remaining sub-folders. Restart your PC in normal boot. Reinstall Steam. Move the "common" and "userdata" folders back where they were.

Thank you habitualaction this worked for me yesterday, however when I tried to start again today the same **** started again. I really dont want to got through this every day. does anyone know why this is happening?

It sounds like one of your games, or the processes associated with it, are not terminating properly.

I have just noticed the steamerrorreporter.exe running with the bootstraper, and it seems this may be my problem how do I get rid of it?

steamerrorreporter.exe is likely due to a problem with Steam or one of your games. I would try refreshing your Steam files first:

If the problem persists, you may need to figure out which game is causing the issue by process of elimination.

I tried doing that yesterday, but steam://flushconfig didn't do anything when I pressed enter, it just closed the box. As for a broken game, the only games I have after the reinstall is cities skylines, which I've had for a long time, and Fallout 4 Which Ive had for a week now.

It may or may not be relevant but which brand of antivirus do you use?

I use Avast, i ran a quick scan right after I noticed the steamerrorreporter and it found nothing.

Well, I tried the refresh. After the restart, Steam started and crashed multiple times, but now it seems to be running. I sure hope it stays this way. If anybody knows what the cause of this is, or any other help, please post it. There is still a chance this will come back. And again, thanks habitualaction!
