virus/infected files?
recently i downloaded a game off steam called krosmaster arena and whhen i launched it it asked for me to create an account or use my steam account. i decided to use the my steam account and the day after that, i had a virus on my computer/malware bytes. i got my dad to try and fix it but he couldn't do anything. so i uninstalled steam and re-installed it and it came up with the same virus, but it launched steam. and because i un-installed it all of my games were un-installed but i have them in my libary. today it came up with an infected file in my C drive(1 TB) and 2 in my D drive (4 TB). i am realy scared and dont want anything to happen to my account. can somebody please help me?

i dont think it is from the game though but steam did update 16,000 kb i think. maybe my virus protection is playing up on me. but keep in mind that it didn't let me launch/run steam.
my anti-virus comes up with with steam.exe as a virus

Reboot into safemode.

Update and run a full scan / rootkit scan of Spybot or similar anti-malware:
https://www.safer-networking.org/mirrors/

Considering that both hard drives where detected, you might have a trojan dropper.

Ctrl+Alt+Del > Task Manager. Check if the steam.exe is there, even when you are not running it. Right-click and find file location, ensuring it's actually in the right location - not just another file posing as steam.exe.

What are the virus name(s) detected?
