Bought a game, code accepted, but it's not in my library
Hi there!

Today I bought FM2016, and I used the code on Steam. Steam said that the code was accepted, and I had to click on 'next', then my download should start. (There was no 'next', only 'cancel' and 'finish'.). So I clicked on 'finish', because that was the only option other than 'cancel'. But the download didn't start, and the game is not in my library. I can't find the game anywhere in Steam. When I try to enter my code again, it says that the code is already used, and that I already have the game. But I havent. So I can't use my code now, and I still don't have the game...

Does anybody know what I can do now?

(Sorry, my English could be bad sometimes, because I'm Dutch)

EDIT: I already tried to restart Steam, tried to uninstall and install again, and tried to restart my laptop.

Try restarting the Steam client.

I already tried to restart Steam. I also uninstalled it, and installed it again. And I restarted my laptop. But it all doesn't work

Yeah I'm very sure, this is the only account I have. At that page all my previous editions (2010, 2011, 2014, 2015) are displayed, but 2016 not. Nowhere in steam or somewhere else on my laptop.

Try to contact the Steam Support and send them your key and explain your problem there, if the game not show up in your inventory...

Normally I would suggest checking categories in the Steam client, and also confirming it wasn't hidden. However if the game does not appear on your profile, then I don't think Steam has accepted you redeemed it. Unfortunately I think you will need to register a support account and open a ticket.

Game badge was updated October 13th. What are the chances you activated them on another account?

Game badge does not update on retail activations as far as i know.

It does update on retail activations its only complimentary ones that don't get updated for.
