Accumulated hours?
Does accumulated hours for a game (for say, TF2) take into account time spent on the main menu? Or is it just playtime?

Main menu counts, it only tracks that the program is running, not what you're doing in the program. In other words, if your profile shows you as "in-game", your time is accumulating.

Some games have their own launchers, and even keeping that open counts as "playing" the game.
