How to get good at Dota 2

You might be thinking, who is this Denis guy to tell you how to get good at Dota? I mean he only has 500 hours?! Well that's the tip of the iceberg as I play on numerous accounts with all of them adding up to around 4k hours.

The main idea of getting good at Dota 2 is playing with the game not agaisnt it. Dota is much like a raging stream, it's a wild ride if you go along with it but it's much harder if you go against it. What I'm trying to say is that Dota has it's ups and downs but you have to be patient and persistant and just keep trying and literally go with the flow. This will put experience and skills under your belt which will ultimately make you better at the game.


Pro tip: If you think a decision is going to result badly when you're playing IT IS 99% LIKELY THAT ITS GOING TO GO BADLY SO PLAY SMART.

Tell me what experience I gain by playing a FTP MOBA game with a toxic community, which has zero single player experience (what I prefer) and why I shouldn't rather invest that time into Skyrim, Hyperdimension Neptunia, Fallout, Akiba's Trip and have a much more enjoyable gaming time.

Somebody is a "pro" at Dota? If I don't met those ppl in my game, why should I even care?
In Dragonball Xenoverse I would KO him in 20 seconds, so he can put his experience from there into the shelf and let it dust.

The problem is not in that game tho, but that your initial post has no help value even to Dota 2 players and you say stuff what could been said even by me, who never played it. And this is not the Dota 2 forum anyways.
