Steam Achievements not unlocking

So I'm currently playing Fallout 4 and I've passed a few stages where I've supposedly unlocked some achievements but nothing is showing for it, similar for an earlier game I played today in which no achievements are unlocking. I have only just noticed this today. Could someone help me in understanding why this is happening and how I may fix it?

I'm aware this has been suggested as a solution, but like I mentioned in my original post, I'd already tried this to no avail. No matter how many times I restart Steam the achievements will remain locked and won't show up for me. I wouldn't have written in the first place would that have worked.

Yeah, first thing I tried, along with rebooting PC and verifying integrity of files etc. Nothing working so far.

Me either. Restarted several times, verified integrity, deleted local content and started a new character. Still no achievements. Achievement screen still shows 0 available. My pip boy app also never connects - perhaps connected?

Yeah I'm getting the same problem where I don't unlock and achievements and can't even see them in my game's Achievement list. Once I get a chance I'll try rebooting steam on my desktop. If it doesn't work I'll try reinstalling Fallout 4 and inform you guys if it works. Regardless this issue might be occurring because I pre-loaded the game. Can anyone else confirm if they pre-loaded the game and are getting achievements?

After reinstalling and making a new character, I unlocked the first achievement. The didn't pop in, but I get them now. I'll switch back to my new character and see if i can unlock with him.

Good to know, might be I have hope after all. I'm currently reinstalling the game. Hope it helps.

Its more a possible issue with the preload version, verify the game cache. 6 of my friends are playing F4 atm and I see multiple achievements unlocked in the activity feed. For all of them.

And what if it doesn't work? i've spend 6hours in the game didn't get one while I know I should of gotten 5 of them like my friend. Can't see them, they don't unlock.

Tried restarting steam and even rebooting my computer.

Just adding to this discussion. I have the same issue, i preloaded the game and simply achievement list is not showing. Played for few hours, nothing happens. Restarted steam, even reinstalled the game and the issue persist
