When i click on steam , it just makes a noise :/

Whenever i click on steam , it makes a noise like : dun un un! Can someone please help.....this is really annoying.....

Is there a windows popup? Windows has popups for many reasons that make a sound when trying to use the application that caused it, and wont let you click on anything.

if you cant see a popup, id try exiting steam from the taskbar, or using ctrl alt del and restarting

Hi , its not even ON the taskbar i click on steam.... DUN UN UN! 3 SECONDS LATER AGAIN.... DUN UN UN!.... still no help...sorry...:/

have you tried using ctrl alt del, going into task manager and using 'end task' on steam
it causes windows to force close it, allowing you to restart it

steam isnt on the task manager....

If its not under 'Processes' in task manager, and it wont launch, i would recommend restarting your computer

Delete it then re install it

you need to be a bit more specific. Does the sound sound like: dun dun dun dunnnnn or
dun dun daaaa? Does any error pop up? have you tried reinstalling steam? did it ever work on this PC before? have you tried installing on another hard drive? have you tried using Steam on another PC?

You can leave steamapps folder (all your games) and steam.exe.
Makes steam redownload itself and keeps games from having to be downloaded again

It has worked on this pc before , always and suddenly it makes a sound , ive heard it before its like on steam , when something is loading and you click something else , it makes that noise
