Invalid Depot Config ??????

I recently purchased GTA V and i am unable to install, error pops up " INVALID DEPOT CONFIG" ?

If i can't install then i want a refund :(

press windows key + r and then in that box type steam://flushconfig then press ok

Yea dude, I'm getting the same. Steam has had a hiccup, I've tried every method, whether its flushing or sorting things in the directory and even the download region. I even uninstalled and re-installed and it's still bugged. Just click play game on steam, instead of trying to download it. It should make a bit of progress.

what i did: 1. open task manager 2. processes 3. end steam.exe 4. restart steam . That should work

I've been having this problem for around three days now and safe to say it's rather annoying.

I try the "steam://flushconfig" method of fixing it and that seems to be a temporary fix for around one or two games.

The issues I seem to face is getting the generic "Invalid depot config" error when I attempt to download games or the game starts downloading, but it simply stays at 0-5% and refuses to download any further.

I imagine that this is some form of issue with steam considering so many people have been having either this, or similar issues, so hopefully either somebody from steam can get back to us to give us a definite fix or this is sorted soon via an update.

My apologies for not being able to give a solid fix myself, but I'm sure posting my issues in more detail will allow someone to help us out.
