How to force quit a game?
When I executed Warhammer Dawn of War, the UI didn't show up. Instead, the game isn't starting, altough it counts as if it's running (look my profile).

Now I can't stop the game exe (from the task manager, nor CMD), or uninstall it. So, I basically can't get rid of it.

Any help about it, please?

Nope, the thing is that the exe is working although the game isn't. It appears as working in the task manager, but it doesn't let mi 'play' nor quit the exe from working.

Oh, and this happened yesterday. Today I started the Pc, and as you see, it's still there.

Tried Process programs as Process Hacker from Microsoft, nothing happens.

You can close it directly from tasks manager (ctrl+alt+delete)

Ok, I think i made it. Uninstalled drivers from my Nvidia, and reinstalled them.

Please tell me you found a solution besides the disable background applications thing. I have this same problem with Age of Mythology: Extended Edition, and nobody seems to understand my problem.

I open up steam, and it already says I'm in-game. The game is not up. Its not running in the background. I cant close it with task manager because it isn't open in task manager or in background tasks. I can't use alt+f4 because the game isn't open. I can't uninstall it because it says that the game is open.

If I force close steam or shut off my computer, when I come back it is still there. I'm dying here and everybody keeps telling me to "just close it". I'm going to explode.

Two weeks ago the problem happened again for me, and I did the same thing. Uninstall and install/update your drivers, then restart. I am a Nvidia user, but I suppose its the same for AMD
