Logitech G933 Not working on Steam. MIC PROBLEM.

So.. My new headset G933 works on everything else except Steam. Steam does detect the headset in voice settings but when i press "test microphone" nothing happens..
I've tried to use it in Dota 2 CS Go and few other games aswell. Nothing happens.

Anyone else having the same problem?

Apologies for necroing an old thread. But I've got mic issues with my recently purchases G933 as well:

When trying to set it up via the general audio setup of Windows 7, my voice is recognized (I can see the green sound bar moving). However, afterwards I always get the messaged that the computer cannot recognize my voice ...

Have you ever been able to properly get your headset working with your pc?

Thanks. I have consulted the Logitech Support Forums in the meantime. And there are almost 20 blog entries on "white noise" / background noise for the G933 alone!

So my guess is that this is a real issue - which most likely also noone here would have a solution for. I'll probably end up having to give back my headset, claming warranty.
