why are you wasting their time but creating duplicate threads?
The people moderating this forum ar NOT Valve employee. Could be they dont know either. They just clean up after you.
That's a bit unusual. I think, for the rest of us, only the community pages are affected. Is it the same error when you try to open your library, or something different?
i mean it in a more colloquial sense since i can't subscribe and unsubscribe to mods on the workshop which effectively disables my entire library since i only really play one game and my current loadout of mods is buggy and crashes my game
And what did I get when I went to post ... Sorry, some kind of error has occurred: There was an error communicating with the network. Please try again later. Yeah, sure.
E502 L3 affects everything except library to play games. They should improve their server. There too many people on. But since steam is the only gaming platform, this issue will probably remain. No one uses other gaming platforms. But a plus side at least you can still play games till server is back up. I had to refresh my store page a few times just to get it to work to buy stuff.
My guess is that somebody (meaning many) in some part of the world is going on steam at around same time.
And steam servers cant handle it.
Except the error message states its a server issue, nothing between.
