No bootable device
I've been though 3 laptops now and each time I've been playing a steam game my computer has crashed and upon restarting has said the following, "No bootable device- Please insert disc and press any key". As I said before this is the third time this has happened to me and I would like it if some of you could tell me how to fix it and what might be causing it. If you do please message me back on this thread and give assistance. Thank you

Thank you for the post but we have already tried this and it has not worked. This is why I have ended up here (pretty desperate I know talking to the steam community). I have a different laptop but have tried all the same to fix the internal error. Anyway thank you for trying and linking me to this post, the laptop is being taken in to an IT technician to see if he can at least find the problem that has caused it, so far I believe that our beloved steam has caused this. Thank you again.
