Scratched off steam card code [HELP PLEASE]

So I just bought a steam gift card and when I was scratching the number off I accidentally removed a number from the code by doing it too hard. I've been searching up how to solve this problem but I can't find anything. Can anyone help please?

I bought a 100 dollars steam card for a birthday and 3 numbers are missing and you have no idea such a bad figure I did. I hope this people are serious and will give me another card. This is not the right way to treat customers and voice will spread if they don't refund.

They won't give you the missing code. They'll tell you if they added the amount or not.

actually i have 5 pcs steam card same f problem and when i go to walmart they wont help or do anything :( $100 each

What you do is provide picture of the cards, as well your receipt and add it to your ticket. They reply within day, or two.

For future reference always look at the card before you buy, this way you avoid these issues buying a damage / torn card. Also advice there never a need to scratch hard to remove the cover scratch paint using a coin with teeth will work well.

you know actually the only way to really fix it is going to the store, it searches the card then finds the code for the specific manufactured card then you have a code

Well you have to. Either you see what support can do for you, and wait for their reply, or you go to the store and see if they can do anything, though it's not usually the responsibility of store workers to deal with this sort of thing and so they are unlikely to be able to do anything about it.

There's a scam going around with gift cards you scratch in Canada, so be careful
