Scratched off steam card code [HELP PLEASE]

So I just bought a steam gift card and when I was scratching the number off I accidentally removed a number from the code by doing it too hard. I've been searching up how to solve this problem but I can't find anything. Can anyone help please?

you know actually the only way to really fix it is going to the store, it searches the card then finds the code for the specific manufactured card then you have a code

I just recently purchased a $50 steam gift card and part of the numbers were torn off, i tried taking it back to the store i purchased it from and they said they couldnt do anything about it. so i sent the steam support a picture of the card and they havent been back to me in almost 4 days now
