CSGO Demos Permanent in Replays Folder? Do they stack up?

As I want to get into making frag movies, I was wondering whether downloaded recent games will be permanently placed in the csgo replays folder or will it expire and be automatically deleted from the replays folder after a certain amount of time? For example, as you can save a total of 8 downloaded games in csgo before 1 will be replaced with your most recent download, will it also replace that download that was replaced in the replays folder or will all your downloads be stacked up in the csgo replay folder? If you don't know what im talking about C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\replays is where all your recent downloaded games are placed. If someone who is experienced and can help me with the question can comment below it will be well appreciated in helping me.
