Games Crash, can't close (even with Taskmanager) [SOLVED]

Games Crash, can't close (even with Taskmanager) [SOLVED]

So basically alot of Games randomly start crashing for me. The sound is there and it just looks like a normal freeze, BUT i can't close these Games afterwards. If i close the Process, the sound just stops and the window goes black. I can perfectly tab out and do w/e i want but i can't close that game which is annoying if a steam game crashes and i have to hold my power button otherwise i can't play another game or turn off my Pc. Any suggestions ?

It happend with : Mount your friends, Orion, Dead pixels, speed runners and a few other games.

Fun Fact : All the games crash after im in the game. I can do everything in the options but when i'm playing it for about 2 seconds it freezes. (Same with every game that randomly freezes.)

Hey, i have exactly the same problem with multiple games.
The freeze happens after i do something that involves more memory i think. Like killing an enemy in Ori and The Blind Forest or hitting a ball in Rocket League.

I was searching for my problem on the internet but could only find your post that was similair to my problem and this was just a few days ago. So i think it has something to do with a steam patch or something.

I can play GTA V with no problems (I don't play it from steam)

I personaly think it has something to do with the controller. Because it only happend with controller games so far.

now that you say that, i have my controller since 2 days... maybe i do need drivers for it. I'll try doing that.

the drivers that came with the xbox controller didn't solve the problem

"I got it to work!!! Leave your xbox 360 controller pluged in and try this: If you have MotionJoy installed uninstall it!!!!! Go to device manager Under something like common controller right click properties and click unistall and if prompt to uninstall software or delete software click yes. Look under human interface devices in device manager right click each one you see HID-compliant device and USB Input Device and click unistall do this to ALL of them. yes your mouse keyboard wont work for a few seconds but this will ensure you are uninstalling the **** controller device drivers. After you have unistalled these items unplug your xbox360 controller Now get the latest drivers from MS site for xbox 360 controller and install the drivers FIRST before you plug the contoller in and make sure you click finish on the program before plugging it in.(http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/xbox-360-controller-for-windows) Trust me it should work i have 1 solid light on my game pad not like before where it was stuck flashing. plus i tested it on Fifa12 where i was crashing before so far played 2 games no problems :)"

IT WORKED !!! Kapitein Klitteband is a god thank you so much. I tried it with Mount your friends and it works so far, gonna try it with a few others.

It worked for me too.
if you hadn't posted this i wouldn't have figured the problem came from the controller. So thanks to you aswell. :D

...because windows is f u c k i n g stupid. I have several games on pc that crash after like an hour and they always just freeze but never close and i gotta restart my whole computer every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time because dumbass windows/win 10 cant get their s h i t together. I also have yet to find any kinda solution. So fckin annoying. And this is 2019 ffs. F u c k i n g ridiculous. :/
