disable steam chat taskbar flashing

Is there a way to stop steam chat from OVERRIDING MY WINDOWS SETTINGS and flashing on the taskbar as long as it damn wants? I can't even just quickly switch between it and whatever else I'm doing, I have to WAIT on the chat window or else it resumes flashing FOR THE SAME MESSAGE.

Found the solution. Like Hot sauce said, click the little gear in the Friends tab (you can get there by right clicking steam on your desktop and click "Friends") then click Notifications. Then choose "Never" in the "Flash Window When I Receive a Chat Message" area.
