[HELP] Steam voice sounds really bad

I once noticed the problem when I was playing dota2 using the in game voice chat, in which my friends told really sucks, and so I tried to fix it and gone to the steam voice settings, and what I found is that the sound is really terrible compared to the sound I recorded using the Voice Recorder app on Windows 10 which sounds decent.
please help.

Have you tried this?

Right click the speaker icon in the Windows taskbar > recording devices > go to your mic's properties > Enhancements tab > Tick the 'disable all enhancements' box.

I tried it, but it still sounded really bad, do you think it's because of the drivers?
I have an updated connexant sound driver, but before going to windows 10 I don't remember having that driver
