How do i know if it's a "0" zero, or a "O" as in the letter

trying to redeem my gift card, seems everyone is having trouble but i want to make sure i'm entering the right code and as the title states i'm not sure how i can really tell.

How many circle symbols are on that card?
Thats 2^N number of different attempts. If you enter a bad code it does nothing. Enter a good code and it works and you can throw the code out.

2^3 is 8, but I tried all 8 combinations. Multiple times. Double Checking everything else. What am I supposed to do?

i thought Steam Wallet codes put a / mark through "zeros" so basically meaning "not the letter O, but the number 0"

...if you don't see a slash / through the "circle" then it's a letter O and not a number 0.

Usually 0's are zeros...not O's in any type of code

The card was from Gamestop, and there's no slashes for zeros. Thanks for the equation thing tho, I recorded all the possibilities and I tried every single one of them.
