Avast finds susp virus in Steam.exe_ after update
Probably a false positive, but I've never had issue with it before so came up a bit strange. This morning steam decided to upgrade itself and... well... Avast categorized it as potential danger: Win32:Evo-gen found in file Steam/package/tmp/Steam.exe_

Any ideas what's up?

Everyone gets this, that's why Valve always says to make sure you allow Steam through your firewall and Anti-Virus software, or it'll cause issues with Steam. It's nothing more than a false-positive. No worries.
