Help Removing Trade Hold
How do I remove the trade hold.. previously, I could trade without waiting anytime to receive my items. I registered my via phone the Steam Mobile Authenticator and I still get a hold.

This is stupid that I can not trade without getting my items instantly. It was like that in the past and it should have never changed. If you don't want to be "scammed" or lose any of your items, look at the trade and don't accept any trade, share your account, enter your password anywhere other than steam, or go to/download any suspcious things (and remove your steam account because you do not belong owning one, if you can not read).

You don't.

You wait 7 days after enabling both Trade Confirmations and Mobile Guard Authenticator.

Then you will only get a Trade Hold with users who've not filled that quota; unless you do one-sided trades.
You have to wait for a while to be able to trade.

This is enough to spark the move back to console gaming. If I can't not have access to my hard earned money instantly, then I am starting to think that Steam does not want my annual at least $200 in business.

Why should I be penalized a week to receive my items, when 5 year olds or some lazy loser that can not read ruin the system? This reminds me of the same situation that ruined the classic game, Runescape, back in the day. Stupid little kids that are not even old enough in the community ruin the system because they do not read the first warning they get, so give them 5 more warnings because they are too illiterate.

If i want to trade my items in real-time, waiting 7 days does not allow me to complete the card set the day I want/need to.
What money? You are given a terminable license to virtual items, that cannot be sold unless Valve explicitly allows it, e.g. the community market. And that's just Steam credit. The simple solution is, don't treat Steam as a job. Selling items is just so you can get cheaper games.

Then use the mobile authenticator app. After the app runs for 7 days you have no waiting time while trading. If you dont use the app you need to wait 3 days for your items.

They have 77.000 compromised accounts A MONTH.
Also, Steam already said, it was either this new system or disbanding the complete user trading system and only allowing market trading in the future.

It's a one time thing... after a week you don't have to wait 7 days for anything

I never said Steam was a job. I spent my hard earned money in real life to buy Steam games, cards, items within games. I want my items when I make trades, not in a delayed time. I get enjoyment in using my hard earned cash to purchase these items to complete card sets and increase my gaming experience. Why should I be punished?

If you do not want to spend your money on steam, you should have never made the purchase in the first place. If you are dumb enough to try to trade real world cash for your steam items, you should lose your steam account for trying to break the rules.
Okay, so you spend money to get games, you can still play the games, right? And you buy the cards or in-game items, you still get the cards and in-game items, right? You don't pay anything to trade, it's a purely optional feature that still works as long as you can wait 72 hours.

Like I said, why should I be punished because people are too illiterate or stupid to secure their acccounts/systems. That is the 77 or 77K, whichever you meant to say, persons' fault.

If the other person does not have the app, then I still have to wait? Is there a hold for declining this trade then? The only way I can get around this is to specifically say that I will not trade with people who do not use the app within my trade forum, but will still get trade offers from the same illiterate people that do not read and ruin the system.
Litt;le fun fact. The entire reason steam trade exists is for user convenience. Previously you had to go to external sites to trade and well there were scammings and shennanigans a plenty so Steam Trade was added to provide a trading medium under Valve scrutiny.

And yest people still managed to ♥♥♥♥ themselves up.

There is no penalty for declining a trade, there is a 7 day wait on further trading if you cancel a pending trade (i.e. one you have accepted, and that has the 72 hour hold.)

I'd beg to differ. I have only used Steam Trading forums to make trades (317 trades, 11 pages of trades, 54 Badges Earned, 498 game cards, 784 items owned, 100 market transactions). You can tell by my level, I have had history in trading. I have never had a problem until now, any person that tried to lowball me or take free items was easily reported and forgotten about within seconds.

Is there an indication that the other person does not have a trade hold? If not, this should be implemented because I do not want to be penalized for removing the trade because I do not want to wait days to get my items.
